Childcare Roles

Our childcarers hold a range of childcare qualifications and experience, with a wide skill set which ranges from; an in-depth knowledge of special needs childcare to those that are fluent in multiple languages. We assist families by meeting their individual requirements to suit all types of needs so if you feel your requirements are different to the options below please let us know and we can work with you to find a suitable childcare solution.

At Link Childcare our Nannies are both experienced, qualified, with a wealth of knowledge. All our childcarers have as their overriding priority the safe wellbeing of the children in their care.

They will undertake all childcare duties ranging from child related housework, taking and collecting from School or Nursery to organising a safe, fun and educational timetable for your children. A nanny can either work full or part time. A part-time nanny works the hours that you require, be it afternoons, mornings, or a couple of days a week. A Live-in Nanny’s role is very much like that of a Nanny role and could be the perfect answer if you work long hours or are frequently away from home.

At Link Childcare we believe that a nanny with her own child is a bonus, she can see things from both the nanny and parent’s perspective. It is also a great way for your child to interact with other children of different ages. This is a more cost effective childcare solution as you can employ an experienced nanny at a lower salary.

If you are a childcarer looking for a new position or a family want to explore your childcare options please contact us or register your interest.

A Mother’s Help would normally be a childcarer that is unqualified although would likely have some experience, for example from a Nursery setting. The role of a Mother’s Help is to be just that, assisting the parents with the daily duties. This position is not a ‘sole charge’ role and parent/s would be around to provide direction. More household duties will be carried out by the Mother’s help than by a nanny.

If you are a childcarer looking to start your career or a family wanting to explore your childcare options, please contact us or register your interest.

Emergency Childcare is where a nanny is placed with you at very short notice, maybe your normal nanny is unwell or you need to go away at short notice for business or a family emergency. We only place nannies in this type of role who have experience in such situations and can adapt to new placements very quickly.

At Link Childcare all our nannies are vetted to a high standard and we pride ourselves on supplying high quality child care in emergency situations.

If you have had a breakdown in childcare or are a nanny looking for ad hoc work, please register your interest or contact Link Childcare for further information.

A Nanny Share can be a great way for your child to gain social skills through mixing with other children. It is also a more affordable option as the childcare cost is shared between the families. A detailed contract of employment would be essential to ensure all parties’ requirements are met.

If you and another family want to explore the option of a nanny share, please contact Link Childcare or register your interest.

A Nanny Housekeeper is an alternative to employing a part time nanny, some families will benefit from a full-time nanny to undertake household duties e.g. washing, ironing, and cooking whilst the children are at school. This role is also beneficial for family with busy work schedules that need the extra flexibility from a nanny for example if the child is home unwell

Please contact Link Childcare for more information on nanny housekeepers or register if you would like more information on our available roles.

At Link Childcare we can offer a nanny on a temporary basis, this can be –

  2. Covering school holidays
  3. Accompany you on your family holiday

To explore this option further please contact us, or if you are a childcarer available for holiday work please register your interest.
